Lost at Sea Ch. 10

Chapter 10: Rescued at Last!

    There was no denying it: Amelia spotted Rockhopper’s ship! Help finally came to them!

    “We’re over here! We’re over here!” she shouted as long as she could.

    She could hear the sound of a boom from the ship. A flash of red was coming over to them, and when it landed right by her, Amelia could see a red puffle. It was Rockhopper’s friend Yarr.

    “Avast!” said a voice.

    Amelia turned around to see Rockhopper steering the Migrator over.

    “Thank goodness you came! My friends and I got stranded her after storm!” she said with a sigh of relief.

    “Arr! Ye need a lift back to Club Penguin? And care for yer friends?” said Rockhopper.

    Oh no! Her friends, the ones who were sick! Were they going to be okay?

    “My friends need a doctor! Almost all of them got sick…” Amelia said with a worried look.

    “Yer not to worry. I can take ye and yer friends back ter Club Penguin. Yarr can help ye look after them until we return,” said Rockhopper.

    Amelia sighed in relief.

    About an hour later, everyone was on the Migrator sailing back to Club Penguin. Yarr the red puffle helped Amelia, Aunt Arctic, and Gary watch over the sick agents as they did their best to recover from being on the island for about two weeks. PH and Rookie, who were the first to feel sick, were feeling better than before, but they still needed to rest until they made it back to Club Penguin. Jet Pack Guy and Dot weren’t feeling better, but at least they could get medicine and more rest now. As for Berry, she was okay to.

    That night, while everyone else was asleep, Amelia sat on the deck by herself. After taking care of everyone and working to signal help back on the island, she needed a break and time to herself. The purple penguin looked up at the sky.

    “Everyone’s okay, Marnic,” she whispered.

    There was silence. She expected this, because sometimes, when she was alone, she’d talk to the sky and pretend that she was talking to the spirit of her twin brother.

    “They’ll be okay. I’m relieved that they’re okay,” she whispered.

    Silence again.

    “No. I wasn’t worried about myself. I was worried about my friends. I just wanted them to be okay,” she whispered.

    Silence once more.

    “I just don’t want to lose them. They’re also family. Well, I’m going to get some sleep. Good night, brother,” she whispered.

    Amelia waddled back to her room.
